I just now notice that you posted a new entry on your blog and was interested to read it. I haven't written as much music as you have, but I'm usually inspired by a person or an event to write something. I was in the hospital in Austria one time years ago having my kneecap removed and had previously sold all my guitars. I had lots of idle time and asked some students, friends of mine, that were there with me to let me borrow a guitar to play while I was in the hospital. They surprised and bought me a guitar and gave it to me. I wrote a little song to some words I knew that I entitled "One Lighted Candle" as a way of saying thanks. That guitar has always been very special to me. I have since written several pieces of music inspired by people and events on that same guitar.
