What's New at Sullivan Guitars
- Note: It's been a while since we let everyone know what we've been up to lately. We've been working a lot on our web site and a new web site, www.acousticguitarcorner.com. On the new site we're offering not only our handmade guitars, but amplifiers, pickup systems, cases, instructional DVD's, and accessories, like capos, pre-amps and direct boxes as well. Our product lines are centered around the acoustic guitar and the acoustic guitar player. We also have one new guitar on line, to be finished some time later this summer. Back and sides are a beautifully figure set of palo escrito. Check out the photo's below for a sneak preview of the work in progress.  SMSA-T - 026: This model SMSA-T is a real eye catcher that features wildly figured zebrawood back and sides with an Alaskan bearclaw sitka spruce top. The guitar has a beautiful spalted maple rosette with an abalone center. Abalone fretboard markers and headstock logo. Ebony bindings, end wedge, headstock laminate, heel cap and bridge. Black and white purfling lines front and back. Tusq bridge pins with abalone dots. The guitar comes in a Golden Gate Deluxe case.

 SMSA-WM - 018: This guitar features nicely figured black walnut back and sides with an Alaskan bearclaw sitka spruce top. Traditional style Indian rosewood bridge. Walnut headstock laminate, heel cap and rosette. Black ebonized fiber bindings. The body has a gloss finish with a satin neck. The WM series of the SMSA shape has been built with the working musician in mind. A lot of the fancy trim has been kept simple with the emphasis being put on sound and playability. This guitar comes with a Travelite case. For the money these guitars are the best yet.

Spalted maple rosette with an abalone center and abalone purfling lines around the top. Gold open geared Gotoh vintage style tuners with scalloped buttons.
